Fromm Winery in Marlborough made this wine with very ripe Riesling that is infected by Botrytise fungi. The berries shrivel into near raisin likeness. As it’s called Beerenauslese, all berries went into tank to make this wine are infected ones. The flavour combines from both fruit and intense characters came exclusively from fungal influence.
